Magnolia Gardens and Plantations

Magnolia Plantation and Gardens is Charleston’s most visited plantation and it is easy to see why. It is well-preserved with acres of beautiful marshland, rice fields, and gardens. We went a little before sunset and the view of the plantation, basked in gold and red, was truly magical.

There was a local market there when we visited. It looked absolutely amazing surrounded by the trees and the swamps. We saw an armadillo, turtles, alligators, and an albino peacock perching on a tree!

Here are some pictures we took at the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. Read more about our experience in Charleston here.
